Ready To Take Control of

Your Health?

Navigating women's health issues like perimenopause, endometriosis, or pelvic organ prolapse takes time, care, and the right support. I don't rush these conversations - I take them seriously, because your concerns deserve more than a quick consult.

If you're looking for expert support that blends women's health care with lifestyle medicine - you're in the right place.

How we can help

Real Support for Women Navigating Hormones, Health Shifts, and the Health Challenges No One Warned You About.

I’m Dr Lisa Cochrane, a GP with a special interest in midlife women's health.  I support women through the messy, misunderstood middle — from hormone shifts to hysterectomy recovery and everything in between.

If you're dealing with peri/menopause, preparing for pelvic surgery, not feeling like yourself, or noticing changes like low energy, disrupted sleep, or unexpected weight gain - you're not alone.

I help women make sense of what’s going on and feel more confident in how they care for their bodies.

Using evidence-based strategies — including nutrition, movement, sleep, stress support, and hormone-aware care — I guide recovery, improved energy, and support long-term wellbeing.

What makes the difference? Time to talk, space to ask questions, and a plan that actually fits your life.

Feeling Different After 40?

Here's How Lifestyle as Medicine Helps?

At some point around age 40, many women notice a shift. The things that used to work — for energy, mood, sleep, or weight — start falling short. Hormonal changes, stress, and evolving responsibilities can leave you feeling out of sync with your own body.

Lifestyle as Medicine is a practical, science-backed way to respond to these changes — without jumping straight to medication or one-size-fits-all fixes.

I focus on six key pillars:

nutrition, movement, quality sleep, stress support, social connections, and reducing harmful substances.

Lifestyle as medicine isn't a wellness trend or a quick fix. It's a spotlight on the simple things that actually shift the dial on your hormones, your energy, and your headspace.

You don’t need a total life overhaul - just small, realistic changes that meet you where you’re at and support how your body feels now, not ten years ago.

We’ll focus on what actually works for you, in this season of life.

About Us

Hi, I'm Dr Lisa Cochrane

I’m a GP with over 20 years of clinical experience and a special interest in women’s health, hormones, and lifestyle as medicine.

I work with women who feel like their bodies have changed — and nothing seems to work the way it used to. Whether you're dealing with perimenopause, recovering from surgery, managing fatigue, or feeling overwhelmed by your health, I help you make sense of what’s going on and build a plan that actually fits your life.

My approach is grounded in science and shaped by real life. I use practical, evidence-based tools — like nutrition, movement, sleep, stress support, and habit change and medications when needed— to help you feel better in your body and more confident in your choices.

When I’m not seeing patients, you’ll find me wrangling my two sons outdoors or trying to improve my very average surfing skills at the local beach.
